In 2017, she stepped away from music to pursue her academic goals, earning a bachelor’s degree in public health from Madonna University Nigeria in 2014 and a bachelor’s degree in health planning and management from the University of Benin in 2017.

After several years away, VINVAE returned to music in 2023, releasing a series of powerful singles that reintroduced her artistry to the world. These releases culminated in her compilation album, THE V ECHOES, a reflection of her growth, resilience, and artistic clarity.

In 2024, she released her 1st studio album When My Life Began, the first release in her Life Trilogy and the trilogy’s second chapter. The album explored themes of self-discovery, transformation, and the courage to embrace new beginnings. Its lush production and heartfelt lyricism introduced listeners to VINVAE’s cinematic approach to storytelling, laying the foundation for the trilogy’s broader narrative.

In 2025, VINVAE entered a bold new chapter with the release of her second studio album, When Will My Life Begin, on August 2. While it was the second release in her Life Trilogy, it served as the first chapter in the trilogy’s narrative and was released exclusively direct to consumer before any streaming platform availability. This strategy reflects VINVAE’s commitment to independence, artistic integrity, and building genuine connection with her listeners.
